Lil Wayne Announces 'Sorry 4 the Wait 2' Release Date

The wait is almost over. Lil Wayne has set an official release date for his mixtapeSorry 4 the Wait 2.

The project will arrive on Tuesday, Jan. 20, he revealed in a YouTube trailer entitled “I’m So Sorry.” In the one-minute clip, Weezy also previewed his remix to ILoveMakonnen’s Metro Boomin-produced track “Maneuvering.”

Earlier in the week, he dropped a remixto Future’s “Sh!t,” on which he apologizes to his fans for the delay and addresses his fallout with Cash Money.

Weezy continues to battle with Birdman, while Tha Carter Vstill awaits a release date.

Sorry 4 the Wait 2 marks the follow-up to Wayne’s 2011 mixtape Sorry 4 the Wait.
