Liverpool set to lose Van Dijk as Juventus plan World record transfer bid
Italian champions, Juventus, are reportedly preparing to make record bid for Liverpool and Netherlands tall standing defender, Virgil Van Dijk.
According to Italian reports, the star center-back and 2019 Ballon d’Or nominee has become a top target for Italian giants Juventus, with the defender having made such an impact at The Reds, winning the 2018/19 UEFA Champions League, the 2019 Club World Cup, the 2019/20 UEFA Super Cup and reaching the finals of the 2019 UEFA Nations League.
The Bianconeri are said to be preparing a €178.5million (£150m) offer in an attempt to entice Liverpool who are enroute their first Premier League title in 30 years, to consider parting company with the 28-year-old, who swapped Southampton for Anfield in a £75m move in January 2018.
