Yemi Alade makes a shocking revelation about her mum.

Yemi Alade has revealed that when she was in primary school, her mum had to choose between paying her school fees and flying economy class.

In a post on Instagram, she revealed that her mum had to sell the flight ticket in order to pay her tuition fees.

She added that those days are behind them now and today they fly business class.

She shared a photo she took with her mother in London and wrote:

London is more than just a city to my family, it marks a time in our lives (20 years ago) when mum had to sell her economy class ticket to pay my primary 6 school fees.

Today we fly business class! Next stop #amsterdam.
