Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq donates his 10 months salaries to support the fight against Coronavirus
Kwara state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has announced the donation of his salaries in the last 10 months to support the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
In a statement issued by his chief press secretary Rafiu Ajakaiye, the governor said since he assumed office in May 2019, he ''never received any salary'' and that he will be donating the accmulated sum to help provide palliative measures to the vulnerable in Kwara state as Nigeria battles Coronavirus pandemic.
Kwara state has not recorded any case of Coronavirus since the outbreak in February this year.
