EPL: Chelsea planning to part ways with Sterling, Silva

Chelsea are reportedly planning to part ways with two high-profile players at the end of the current season.

As reported by Graeme Bailey for HITC Sport, the Premier League West London club are considering the future of both Thiago Silva and Raheem Sterling.

Silva’s contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of the season and Mauricio Pochettino’s side are not considering a new deal for the 39-year-old.

Sterling, meanwhile, joined the Blues as one of the first big acquisitions of the Todd Boehly era.

But the England star has not quite been able to live up to his standards at Chelsea.

Sterling remains a key player for Chelsea this term but it is understood that he could be offloaded in the summer.
