All You Need Is Death Trailer Unveils a Folk Cosmic Horror Tale

XYZ Films and director Paul Duane have unveiled the All You Need Is Death trailer which showcases the distinct take on cosmic horror Duane has created.

In All You Need Is Death, a young couple who are part of a mysterious, secret organization travels at night with the desire to discover forbidden knowledge. They believe that living, modern alchemy is contained in old, forgotten songs. When they find an elderly, mysterious woman who sings songs that have never been heard before, they open the door to ancient evil and madness.

You can watch the trailer below. It certainly sold me on its creepy folk horror hybrid atmosphere.

All You Need is Death is the feature debut from Dublin-based writer/director Paul Duane. It stars Olwen Fouéré (Mandy, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022), Charlie Maher (Blue Lights), Simone Collins (The Last Duel), and Gary Whelan (The Contract). The film had its World Premiere at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles, which was followed by an Irish Premiere at Cork International Film Festival.

All You Need Is Death is set to be released in select theaters and VOD on April 11, 2024.
