Meek Mill’s House Arrest Extended with 8 Days
Bad news for Meek Mill. Back in February, Meek Mill was sentenced to 3 months of house arrest starting March 1st which was due to complete on Wednesday, June 1st. The rapper was ordered that he must wear an ankle monitoring bracelet and is prohibited from recording, releasing music, or performing during the 90 days time period.
However, according to reports the Philadelphia rapper has has an additional 8 days tacked onto his 90 day stint. Meek’s reps claim that the judge imposed another week on house arrest because of failure to properly complete community service at the designated places.
The 29-year-old was on probation relating to drug and gun charges from 2008. He violated his probation terms by repeatedly changing his court-approved travel schedule without consulting his probation officer. Meek was given six more years on probation in addition to the house arrest.
