The victim in this case was notified of the arrest, and she was grateful to know Ms. Johnson was off the streets and no longer posed a danger to anyone, a police officer said.
Police say Johnson loaded up a shopping cart full of items at a Duluth, Georgia Walmart just before 6 a.m. on Oct. 9.
A female Walmart employee who tried to stop Johnson was sprayed in the face with mace, but fortunately she was able to identify Johnson from an earlier shoplifting incident.
A video of her brazen theft was also broadcasted on local news stations which also helped in tracking her down fast
