The Bayelsa state police command have arrested one Bamekpa, a native of Imiringi, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State for allegedly raping his 12 year old daughter, Queen, getting her pregnant and then taking her to a quack doctor to terminate her 4 months old pregnancy.


According to The Nation, Queen said her father had started raping her when she was 11 years old and eventually impregnated her. He then forced her to abort a four-month-old pregnancy through a crude process that presently threatens her life as she bleeds from her private part.

The victim, Queen, who could not take the repeated rape incident from her father, decided to run away from home.
