Davido's "A Good Time" VS Fireboy DML "Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps" Album, Which is Better?

On November 22nd 2019 and November 29th 2019, Davido and Fireboy DML dished out their new albums; "A Good Time" and "Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps" respectively.

The DMW boss Davido partnered with RCA records and Sony Music to release his sophomore LP album featuring big names like Chris Brown, Popcaan, Wurld, and a few label mates including Yonda, Dremo and Peruzzi.

Davido’s overall theme in "A Good Time" album is a rich playboy who is embracing commitment. The songs are feel-good serenades, many with groovy and catchy rhythms slowed to a gentle sashaying pace, and at least one dedicated directly to his fiancé Chioma Rowland (“Assurance”).

He featured five singles in the 17-track album produced by Speroach, Kiddominant, Tekno, and others. The Nigerian singer once more championed the use of songwriters, lifting his label mates to the world through this album.

On the other hand, YBNL launched a 13-track album for Fireboy DML. The debut album "Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps" is a slow-paced Afrovibe mellowed to suit the trending dance steps. Its a complete body of work cutting across all works of lives perfectly created to suit all moods.

This is one of the best debut albums out there. Unlike many, the young talented YBNL afro beat singer launched a full album of 13-tracks rather than an experimental EP. This shows how much trust Olamide has on this young talent.

According to Google, many music fans seems to prefer Fireboy DML's "Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps" over Davido's sophomore album "A Good Time".


Davido's album has a 96% score despite the huge numbers accrued by "A Good Time" album across all music streaming platforms including the record 2 million YouTube views in 24hours for Blow My Mind Visuals.

on the other hand Fireboy DML leads with 99%, with a poor turn out for his Youtube Video for Scatter that had less than 200,000 views in 2 days.



Fireboy DML's album seems to be everyone's favourite.
