Mr Raw (formerly Nigga Raw, Dat Nigga Raw) is a pioneer member of the Local Rappers artistry and today’s throwback casts a spotlight far back as ten years ago on his well received hit track featuring comedy entertainer, Klint Da Drunk.

Launching his career officially in 2002 was the moment he won the Eastern leg of Benson & Hedges contest, to which he was crowned Best Upcoming Artiste in Nigeria… perhaps from the East.

His fondness for his mother tongue gave rise to his penchant in Igbo rap while his local roots became perfect muse for the award-winning song “Obodo“.
