She wrote the song, while David Kershenbaum handled its production.
The song peaked at Number 19 on the US Adult Contemporary chart, reached Number 48 on the Hot 100 and topped the chart in Portugal.
It was however, her highest charting song for quite some time.
In addition, numerous artists have also covered the song, including Neil Armstrong, Ronan Keating and boyband Boyzone.
