Joey Badass - Front & Center

Joey Badass is following in the steps of Wiz Khalifa by rapping over the theme from his favorite Netflix series. As you may remember, Wiz Khalifa blessed the world with a stoner rap take on Stranger Things, and Joey has now taken perhaps a more conventional route as he remixes the Narcos soundtrack into something like an Only Built 4 Cuban Linx track. While the sample could come off a Wu-Tang track, courtesy of Cookin Soul, the drums are decidedly trap-influenced, as Joey meets the East Coast and the South halfway, supplying some dark storytelling to match the mood of the track.
