Fire on the Mountain is a reggae song recorded by Nigerian French singer-songwriter Asa, from her 2007 debut studio album Aṣa (Asha).
The artist penned the song, and like all other songs on the album, multi-talented Cobhams Asuquo handled the production.
The song’s title is a metaphor culled from a popular Nigerian children’s game. There’s fire—trouble, and the song says things are not always rosy and things are not always beautiful.
There’s no need saying Asa makes beautiful music… you already knew that, that’s why you’re here ?
So without further ado, hit play.
