A Moment Like This is a pop song which is the debut single by American singer Kelly Clarkson, who is popularly known for winning the first season of American Idol.
It was included on her 2003 debut studio album, Thankful.
John Reid and Jörgen Elofsson wrote the song, while Steve Mac and Stephen Ferrera took care of the production.
The track was released as a single on September 19, 2002, and went ahead to top the US Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Singles Chart.
In 2006, British singer Leona Lewis recorded and released her successful version which has sold more than 920,000 copies.
