Ras Kimono - What’s Gwan

What’s Gwan is a reggae song by Nigerian reggae artist Ras Kimono, from his 1990 sophomore studio album of the same name.

The song appeared as the opening and title track on the album.

Ras Kimono composed the song, while Lemmy Jackson helmed the production and studio engineer Monyaka Enahoro arranged it.

Its subject matter describes the deplorable condition of the Nigerian economy, fuelled by the bad policies meted out by incompetent leaders.

It’s no surprise this song still remains relevant to this day.
