” But Shilla, my work is always talk, good and bad… You can’t be so sure he’s a real gentleman, people hide character. Don’t be carried away by his first impressions. Please slow down with things and I bet you will know if he is real or just he’s targeting something ” Doctor Arnold advised.

“Doctor Arnold, I am certain in my spirit that he is my husband. My days of waiting is over. Very soon, I mean very soon, I will be called Mrs….Phillip, He is accountant and I am a doctor. What a beautiful combination” Shilla said.

” But Arnold, I hope you have not started your bad talk again? ” Shilla said with gloomy face.

” Hahaaa this world, people hate the truth, my sister however much you change your face, but I think I haven’t said anything bad, however you need to go slow, the world is full of bad and good people, and bad people pretend like good people’ OK… hard luck” Dr Arnold.

Doctor Arnold explained to her that he was happy for her but only telling her to be careful because she knew not much about the young man in question.

Shilla pretended to have taken the advice from her colleague.
In her mind, Shilla would do what pleases her.

Doctor Arnold left the office to attend to other things.

In the evening, Phillip picked Shilla from the hospital after work to a restaurant for dinner.
Phillip had called Shilla earlier and she agreed to have dinner with him.

Shilla left her car at the hospital because Phillip promised to drop her in the house and pick her to work the following morning.

The two young people had a beautiful time in the evening.
Phillip dropped Shilla at her home.

Shilla entered her room, full of praise to her friend,Dorah for giving her such a wonderful young man.

Shilla entered the shower and washed down. She told herself that she had washed away her past.

She was now a happy person.
Meanwhile, Phillip called his girlfriend named Juliet to meet him at the junction he usually picked her.

Phillip got to the junction, picked her and drove to his house.

It was Wednesday morning and Shilla as usual was prepared for work.

She heard a car horn outside the house. Knowing who it was, Shilla took her stuff and went to her compound.

The gate man had already opened the main gate. Phillip drove in.

He got down, hugged Shilla and pecked her cheeks.

Phillip opened the front passenger side of his car for the doctor to enter.

“we are going to have breakfast before I take you to the office. Please don’t refuse” Phillip said before starting his engine.

Shilla didn’t refuse, Phillip took her to Cafe Javas.

Shilla was amazed at the beauty and set up of the place.
Shilla usually went out to have fun with her friends but never had they discovered such a beautiful place of eatery.
Shilla enjoyed the morning meal too.

Phillip drove her to the hospital.
“thanks for the beautiful treat. I just love everything about you and the restaurant” Shilla was thrilled.

“if you agree to marry me, you will have more of such treats. All you have to do is to say yes to my proposal” Phillip said.
“you have to give me a little time to think. I need to put myself together from my past experience” Shilla pretended.
Shilla was just trying to tell Phillip that she wasn’t cheap. Deep in her heart, everything was just yes! yes!! yes!!
“how about taking you to my place so you can see where I live after work today?” Shilla was already out of the car before the question came.
Shilla leaned on the window and thought for a while.

“count me in. See you after work” Shilla said and left him in the car to the hospital.

Phillip was all happy before leaving the hospital premises.
Shilla entered her office with renewed energy.

She was on top of the world because Phillip was treating her like a queen.

Shilla put on her over coat and went to the wards to check up on all the admitted patients, particularly Gift the girl she had operated.

To her delight, the little girl Gift was getting better and better by the minute.

Shilla sat beside her on the bed and asked her how she was doing.

” Gift how are you feeling now” Dr Shilla asked.

” Am fine, Dr Shilla, thank for taking good care of me, may God bless you, because I know I will not die now” Gift said.
Shilla told her a funny story and she smiled all through the story.

A nurse entered with Gift’s breakfast.

Shilla advised her to eat.
Shilla as well promised to get back to her later.

She was so fond of the little girl because according to her parent, she was their only child. Shilla left the ward to her office.
Doctor Arnold entered the office having a broad smile across his cheeks.

Shilla grinned when she saw his smiling face.

“Arnold, what has made you so happy that early morning” Shilla inquired.

” Shilla i can’t believe that the little girl’s parent have promised to take five staff of the hospital to Dubai for shopping because the hospital had saved their only daughter” Dr Arnold said.

Shilla brushed off the topic and dropped the topic of Phillip and herself.

“don’t tell me you are not happy for me” Shilla asked her assistant.

Shilla was a bit surprised with his attitude anytime she raised the issue of Phillip.

“oh dear, please don’t get me wrong. I’m only cautioning you to be careful with today’s gentlemen. I think I would have to repeat myself over and over again. Love has got nothing to do with profession. Well I am very sorry if you got me wrong” Doctor Arnold said to her.

” Arnold please must you bring up this love and profession again? If love has got nothing to do with profession then why didn’t you marry a market woman instead of you married an accountant. Arnold You don’t want me to enjoy what you are enjoying right? Come on” Shilla said angrily.

“Shilla, Shilla! How many times must I tell you I never married my wife because she is an accountant. Well for your information, I married her when she didn’t even know which course to read in the university. I married her because she is a wonderful woman. She brings me joy and peace. I will marry her again and again in the next world. I didn’t marry her profession. I married her personality” Dr Arnold the assistant doctor disclosed to Shilla.

“the last person I will like to marry is someone without a good profession. That is what I want and I always get what I want in life. Since my childhood till date, I get what I want and I know I will get someone with a good profession to marry. As for the masons, tailors, drivers, factory workers, hawkers etc, they shouldn’t dare cross my path. How will my friends even See Me if I go in for a low class person” Shilla said.

“can we change this topic please” Shilla pleaded
“no problem madam doctor” Doctor Arnold replied.

The two doctors spoke about how fast the little girl Gift was responding to treatment before the male doctor left the office of Shilla.

Shilla sat down, put her two hands on her head as she thought about the advise his colleague gave him for a while.
Her mind became so certain that there was no way Phillip would do anything to hurt her feelings. He was real.

The more Shilla thought of Phillip, the more she fell in love with him.

The day went to an end and as Phillip promised, he drove to the hospital to pick Shilla.
Phillip drove to the same Cafe Javas they had breakfast in the morning to have dinner before taken her to his house.

The house was a six bedroom house with everything one could ask for.

Shilla gasped for breathe when she dropped down from the car. She couldn’t imagine what she was seeing though it was dark,

the compound was well lighted.
It was a beautiful house. Phillip led Shilla to the hall. It was one of a kind. The place was perfectly furnished.

The floor had beautiful tiles, the window curtains and the color of the sofas matched perfectly.
Shilla complimented him for building such a beautiful house.
” Doctor!.. the shower is here in case you would want to refresh yourself and the bedroom in case you want to have a little rest” Phillip said.

” Doctor I want you to move round the house by yourself, this is your house now” Phillip boasted.

Shilla checked the kitchen. Everything a woman would ask for was in the kitchen.

She was already in love with the environment.

Shilla heard splashing of water from the bathhouse.

Shilla called out…” Phillip..! are you the one in the shower?”
” Yes Doctor its me here” Phillip answered positively and asked ” would like to join me?”
“there is warm water to massage and calm the nerves from stress” Phillip said.

Shilla became curious. She entered Phillip’s bedroom, changed into shots and joined the young man in the bathroom.

They went to the bedroom after washing down. Phillip pleaded with Shilla to pass the night at his place.

“oh no! I have to be at work latest by seven in the morning. Even if I pass the night here, where will I get clothes to wear for work tomorrow?” Shilla said to Phillip.

“Don’t worry Shilla. I’ve got you covered. I will take you to your house tomorrow morning at exactly five in the morning so you can dress. I will then take you to the office Immediately. You don’t have to worry about anything when I am around you” Phillip assured.

“well, if you say so” Shilla said.
“don’t worry dear. I am not like the other man you narrated me about ” Phillip said.

Shilla switched on the bedroom television to watch her favourite series…titled” THE HAVES and HAVES NOT” on DSTV.
Shilla sat on the bed while Phillip lied on the bed.

Phillip stared at Shilla for a while.

Shilla was focused on the series.

Phillip tried to figure out how he could sleep with Shilla that night.

An idea flashed through his mind. He decided to give it a try.

Because Shilla’s back was facing him. He crawled on the bed to the edge where the lady was sitting and tickled Shilla.
” Oooh shit! Phillip!…” Shilla said.
Her adrenaline moved like the speed of light and responded to the tickle.

Phillip laughed out loud at her. She decided to stare at him with a sexy eye.

Phillip pretended , She jumped, Phillip dodged on the bed till Shilla grabbed him.

Shilla tickled him but his body didn’t respond like hers.

They kept tickling each other till their eyes locked.

She didn’t make any attempt to object when the young man tried to kiss her.

That gave him the go ahead. Phillip kissed her passionately. Shilla couldn’t hold herself back.

Shilla responded and accepted the kiss.

Phillip’s hands roamed her body which made her more turned on.
They removed off their clothes and…” (Pliz don’t asked David Elena what happened, I wasn’t there….OK let’s continue)
Shilla was driven to her house in the morning.

She dressed and was taken to the office by Phillip.

Shilla felt on top of the world because of the previous night experience.

” i loved it and i wish i could do it over and over again with you Phillip ” Shilla said.

While in the office, Shilla decided not to tell Doctor Arnold because she wasn’t ready to be lectured on what is good and bad.

Shilla smiled throughout the day at work. Doctor Arnold, knowing what was making her smile decided not to ask.

Five days later, Gift the little girl was discharged that day.

Gift thanked n thanked Dr Shilla, Dr Arnold and entire nurses for saving her life.

The little girl Gift pleaded with Dr shilla and Dr Arnold to visit her in their home.

Dr Shilla promised to visit her whenever she was free. She was taken away by the parent.
Shilla met her friends as usual during the weekend and disclosed to them how Phillip was treating her like a queen.
They were so happy for her. Shilla concluded her prayers had been answered.

Shilla was now thinking of taking the relationship to another level.

Shilla’s friendship with Phillip grew stronger and stronger …………(part of the text missing)
