“Angelica?”Her mother quickly ran to her and grabbed her from Maureen hands while she fell down.

“No no no!”The woman cried out in tears.

Maureen stared at the little Angelica that was bleeding profusely and her heart sank deeply.

“Maureen?”Draco ran to them before he stopped and stared at the little girl on the floor.

“No my daughter can’t be dead,my one and only Angelica”The woman cried out in agony.

Hot tears immediately streamed out Maureen eyes. The fact that the little girl got shot while she was on her arms made her very heartbroken

“Let’s take her to the hospital before judging if she’s dead or not”Draco carried Angelica to his car while Maureen and the Angelica’s Mother followed.

HEALTH CARE HOSPITAL

“Doctor please will my daughter be okay?”Angelica’s Mother asked in tears.

“We will only know once we conduct an operation on her please excuse us”The doctors immediately wheeled her into the operating room.

“Draco is she going to die?”Maureen held into his sleeves with her eyes swollen up in tears.

“No she isn’t going to die okay?”Draco pulled her to his arm and hugged her.

“I don’t want her to die please you must do everything you can to save her” Maureen said while crying on his arms and Draco only pat her back to soothe her.

“Doctor Ben?”Came a familiar girl voice.

“Where’s doctor ben?”

“Am sorry madam but he’s busy carrying out an operation on a patient” The nurse who came out the operating room replied.

“What silly operation is that?? My mother needs immediate medical attention”She frowned before she saw some set of people.

“Draco?”She called and he immediately faced her.

“What are you doing here Bonnie?”Draco frowned at her.

“My mom is sick and am here to see her so what are you two doing here?”Bonnie glanced at Maureen who was in Draco arms.

“I….”

“My daughter was shot please can you help me save her please i don’t want anything to happen to her please”The lady went on her knees and pleaded.

Bonnie stared at the her before starring at Maureen. ‘Did those boys missed the target?’

Bonnie opened her mouth to say something when the door was pushed opened and the doctors walked out.

“Doctor? doctor how is my child?”The lady immediately rushed to them while Maureen stood behind her.

“Am sorry to say this madam but she didn’t survived it. The bullet hit the chambers of her heart and her being a little kid she couldn’t survive it ”The doctor replied and Maureen stumbled back in shock.

“What do you mean doctor? Are you saying my daughter is dead?”The lady asked and the doctor nod his head.

“Yes she needs to be taken to the mortgage excuse me”The doctor immediately left and a loud cry followed.

“No! my child can’t be dead”She fell on the floor and started crying.

“Isn’t it obvious that the girl over there killed your daughter? ”Bonnie pointed her fingers at Maureen who was starring at her.

“What are you saying Bonnie how did i killed her?”Maureen frowned hard.

“You caused her death. How would a little girl like her have enemies? Am sure you were they one they were trying to attack but instead of attacking you the bullet missed and met her instead so you are the caused of her death”Bonnie stared at Maureen who had a shocked face.

“She caused her death and you’re supposed to be blane for her death her blood lies in her your hands Maureen”Bonnie glared at Maureen.

“You’re saying she caused my daughter’s death?”The lady stared at Maureen with eyes full of hatred.

“Yes she caused it. She has bad lucks and it always followed her wherever she goes..”

“Bonnie?”Draco called loudly.

“Stop calling my name like that for you know its true”Bonnie scoffee…

“Angelica?”The lady fell on the floor hard.

“Mrs please don’t…”

“Dont touch me you murderer”The lady immediately pushed Maureen off and she fell down.

“Oww…”She winced loudly and Draco quickly rushed to her and frowned at the lady.

If not for her predicament he would have dealt with her but now is not the time.

“You killed my daughter,you caused her death why did you have to pick her up?? You should have let her to come to me on her own accord. She’s all i have after my husband died drastically and now she’s dead too….”The lady covered her face while sobbing.

Every words the lady and Bonnie said hurt Maureen so much. She was actually the cause of Angelica’s death. They were actually aiming for her but Angelica got shot instead.

“Am sorry…”Maureen apologised with her head down.

“Don’t apologized to me you murderer just bring my daughter back to me please” The lady stood up and leaned towards the wall.

“Please bring my daughter please”She tried to walk towards Maurren when she slipped and fell.

“Arhh….”She screamed loudly and Maureen quickly rushed to her.

“Ahh my child ahh…”The lady cried out after seeing blood flowing from her thighs.

“Doctor?”

“Doctor?”Maureen called out and they immediately rushed in.

“Please operate on her please ”Maureen pleaded and the nurse brought the stretcher before they place her on it and pushed her to the ward.

“Just pray, prays she doesn’t die cause if she dies then you will never have peace in your entire life you mur…”

“Stop it ”Draco pulled her away from Maureen with an angry look.

“Stop what? Oh i should stop saying the truth?? You and i know that this is the truth, Maureen here caused her death and that’s the truth and she needs to live her live knowing that she cause a little girl’s death”Bonnie pulled her hands away from Draco grip.

“Bonnie? ”Draco called calmly.

“If i found out you have an hand in all this then i don’t need to inform you on what i can do”

Bonnie was shocked but she was was quick to mask it up with a calm look.

“And what will i achieve by murdering the little girl or Maureen? Do you think because i don’t like Maureen that i will go to such extents to eliminate her?? No Draco i dont play dirty i play a fair game and am always a winner ”Bonnie glanced at Maureen before she turned back and and walked off.

“Maureen…”

“Draco she’s in there because of me”Maureen immediately wrapped her hands around his waist and stared crying.

“You’re going to fall sick Maureen if you keep on crying,you didn’t caused anybody’s death ok?”Draco felt hurt by seeing her crying.

His heart ache and he felt like killing those who made her hurt.

“No Bonnie is right,Angelica died because of me and now her mother’s in there because of me”Maureen pressed her hands on his back almost digging her fingers into it.

“She isn’t right and nothing is going to happen to her mother ok?”Draco pat her hair slightly and Maureen kept on crying.

“I’ll be right back Maureen”Draco pulled her away from him before he wiped her tears.

“Don’t cry again ok”He said and Maureen nod her head at him.

Draco left and some media’s quickly rushed on.

“Ok we’re live on health care hospital. This is the girl who used a little girl as a shield to save herself and now the little girl’s pregnant mother is in a critical condition”Maureeen was shocked to see them that she wasn’t able to cover her face from them.

“So Lady Maureen how do feel after using a little girl of three years old to save your life and now her pregnant mother is in a critical condition do you feel remorseful or good?”The reporter pointed a microphone to her lips with the camera on her face.

“I…I…I…I..”Maureen stuttered not knowing what to say or how to react.

“Madam?”The door opened and the doctor walked out.

“Doctor how is she?”Maureen immediately rushed to him.

“Unfortunately we couldn’t save her sorry for your lose”

Maureen felt the world were against her how can one family died under an hour and it’s all because of her.

“What about the baby?”She asked and the doctor shook his head before he pat Maureen shoulders.

“He died. My deepest condolences”

“No it can’t be”Maureeen cried out in agony.

“Lady Maureen has finally succeeded in killing a whole family now tell me are you happy??”

“What do you gain from taking their lives?”

“Blood sucking girl”

“What’s all this who let the media in??”Doctor Ben asked annoyingly.

Maureen covered her ears not wanting to hear their talks anymore. She started running out of the mansion only for she to get outside an saw a massive crowd protesting against her.

“There she is?”

“A deadly murderer”

“How can you kill a whole family so wicked?”

They immediately started throwing harmful stuffs at her and Maureen pushed through the crowd with her head down before she ran into the streets.

Draco got back to the ward lane only for him to meer Maureen anymore.

“Hey come here?”He ordered and the nurse quickly came forward.

“Where’s my wife Maureen?”He asked.

“Oh she’s your wife?? Some media came in here and ridicule her for causing the death of both parties”The nurse narrated.

“The pregnant lady is dead?”

“Yes she died along with her 8 months old baby who drank water while coming out”The nurse replied and Draco immediately ran out of the the ward.
