>>>I observed their mood, I discovered that they were expecting to hear from me….why? Haven’t they discussed anything at all before my arrival or was what they discussed all about me? I was so eager to know what they have been talking about so far but it seemed nobody was ready to update me….. After few seconds of #silence, Adeola was d first person to speak out:

ADEOLA: (Cheerfully) Sanya, I know you are surprised to see me……I’m happy to see u again after 4years….. How is my friend doing? Is she too coming here?

[ Believe me guys, I no fit answer any of her questions…… I remained #dumb ]

ADEOLA: Anyway, straight to business….. Your people here have said so many thingsand asked me several questions…. I have tried my best to answer some of the questions to the best of my knowledge but I told them that I needed to see u before I could talk further…..

DR SANYA: It’s all right, I’m here now!
.
ADEOLA: I told your guys here that I dated Yusuf but true to his memory, I didn’t kill him….. He was the guy I met immediately I broke up with you…. Yusuf was a cheat…., so selfish a guy. I am sure my nurse here can testify to that…. He died a deserved death…. I learnt he was poisoned…..

[ I nodded in agreement]

ADEOLA: Hmmmm….. He had always lived a rough life, even when he was an undergraduate…. One day when we were still dating, he told me some atrocities he committed as a #cultist back then on campus….

DR SANYA: As a cultist?

ADEOLA: Yes, of course… he never told u?…… He told me how he rescued a guy who was kidnapped by some rival cultists to be killed. According to him, d guy kidnapped was dating a girl that their boss wanted… The guy never wanted to release the girl and their boss too was never ready to let the girl be. Yusuf braced up and narrowly set the guy free from where he was held #hostage…. In d process, two of the guys guarding the place lost their lives and he too got injured severely…..

[ The story resembled mine, so I paid her serious attention….]

ADEOLA: He rescued the guy and since then, they became friends. I asked him why he rescued a guy he never knew before, knowing fully well that he too was a cultist……He told me that he helped the guy in order to correct his past mistake…. Sanya, do you know this guy rescued by Yusuf?

DR SANYA: It was me…. Yusuf saved me.

ADEOLA: Do you know why he saved you that day?

[ The show was becoming a two-man talk….others listened to us patiently….]

DR SANYA: Before that day, I had never met him before….. He was #hospitalised due to injuries he sustained in the process of rescuing me….. I was amazed he went through all that to save a guy he had not seen before…. I asked him, he told me he did that because he never wanted me wasted the same way his cousin was wasted by the same group of cultists ….According to him, it was a #revenge_mission on them….

ADEOLA: It was not a revenge mission…. Sanya, where is your mother?

[ That question amazed me because I have never discussed d issue of my late mother with her…. What connection is that having with the cause of death of Yusuf that is under investigation?]

DR SANYA: She is late.

ADEOLA: Do you know how she died?
.
[ Oh my God! For God’s sake, why is this investigation coming to my #backyard?]

DR SANYA: No, I don’t.
.
[ Truly, I knew nothing about the cause of death of my late mother…. Nobody in d family was ready to tell me how she died….So, right now, it was so #shameful for me to say I no know how my own mother take die…..]

ADEOLA: Eeya, sorry. But if I may ask you, why are u so desperate to know how Yusuf died?
.
DR SANYA: I just want to know…. We just want to know
.
ADEOLA: You just want to know what will eventually make u sad…. if u don’t stop this your #investigation at this juncture, the revelation that will come out of it will shock you.

[ At this point, I knew and I was sure that Adeola knew what I didn’t know, both about Yusuf’s death and my own mother’s death….. ]

DR SANYA: Right now, I know you have information about my mother’s death, we will come to that later…..But on this issue at hand, I want to be shocked by the revelation….

[ Mrs Yusuf cut in]

MRS YUSUF: We want to be shocked…. We need the revelation
.
ADEOLA: Hmmmm…. I did not kill him and I don’t know who did, but I know the circumstances surrounding his death….. He was poisoned by an okada rider
.
[ We all looked puzzled….. So oblivious of what she meant by “okada rider”….]

DR KOREDE: Okada rider?
.
RASAQ: How? Why?
.
ADEOLA: I know the “how” but I don’t know the “why?”
.
NURSE GBEMI: Who is this okada rider and how can we find him?
.
ADEOLA: Are you guys sure u want to do this?
.
MRS YUSUF: ( Anxiously) Very sure!

ADEOLA: All right then. But to you Sanya, be ready to live forever with the shock that will follow the revelation that will come out of this your investigation…..

[ I was worried…. What is she actually talking about? Adeola that I used to know will never talk #pointlessly….. She is so factual and down-to-earth. At this juncture wey we dey, no going back ooo]

ADEOLA: I don’t know the okada rider…..I don’t even know where and how u can get him…..
.
[ We all felt disappointed….]
.
ADEOLA: But there is one man that can help you….

[ Mrs Yusuf cut in anxiously]

MRS YUSUF: Who is that man and where does he live?
.
ADEOLA: Calm down, dear friend. You are even the one who made his death easy for those who killed him…
.
[ We were all shocked again…..This Adeola wont stop dropping #bombshells….. And we became so anxious to know more…]

MRS YUSUF: How?

ADEOLA: You never forgave your man for cheating on u with this nurse here…. You stopped being caring to him thereafter, even after I took you to that #herbalist in Ijebu who told u to forgive him if you want him to live long, you still didn’t forgive me…. Didn’t you tell your people all that? Hmmmmmmm….. Find that okada guy, and how u assisted the killer in carrying out his or her mission on your husband will be clearer to u.

[ Now I know that Adeola was not #blabbing…. The case of Yusuf and nurse Gbemi that she just mentioned made me to know and be sure that she knew everything she was saying….]

DR SANYA: But you haven’t told us how to find d okada man now…
.
ADEOLA: There is a man that can lead you to him… I can’t give u his name and address for now until I speak with him….. Sanya, you will have to call me on phone tomorrow…..
.
[ For my mind, #tomorrow was not too far so far she would be ready to give us d needed information. What confused me was why she needed to consult the man first……Don’t you think there could be something more to that? ]

[ Adeola knew what I didn’t know about my mother’s death and I was ready to #unravel that mystery also but it would be after finishing with Yusuf’s case…… Or could it be the same person that killed Yusuf that also killed my mother? She said I would be shocked when I know the killer of Yusuf….. could he/she also be the killer of my mum??…..hmmmmmmmm

>>> Make tomorrow break quick o, I can’t wait to know the name and address of the man Adeola talked about….. We must find the okada rider……..We all departed that day with d promise that I would call my people the moment I was able to talk with Adeola…..
