>>> After the day’s work, I went straight to my Mary’s house to sleep over there…. I needed to brief her of all that happened with Adeola at the restaurant. Besides, my head was #hot, I needed to cool it off…..Adeola said so many things that called for worry…. That night, I sat Mary down and gisted her everything, including the events her movie did not allow her to listen to the previous night….Mary was so amazed to hear the things Adeola said…

MARY: You mean you saw Adeola again?
.
DR SANYA: I did ooo….. With every statement coming out of her mouth, believe me, initially I thought I was dreaming…..
.
MARY: My worry is on how she got to know so much like that….
.
DR SANYA: That girl is something else….. She kept on saying that what I will find out of the investigation on d cause of Yusuf’s death will shock me…. I didn’t understand what she meant and that worried me a lot
.
MARY: Even, that one aside, what has Yusuf’s death got to do with your own mother’s death?
.
DR SANYA: Same question I have been asking myself since afternoon….. I must get to the root of all these.
.
[ I picked up my phone and I was dialling the number she gave me….]
.
MARY: Who are u calling?
.
DR SANYA: Her number! ….. The number she gave me this afternoon….
.
PHONE CONVERSATION

DR SANYA: Good evening…. Sanya, on the line
.
ADEOLA: Oh… How are u?
.
DR SANYA: Don’t tell me u are expecting me to say I am fine after all you said in the afternoon…..
.
ADEOLA: I said so many things this afternoon….. Which one exactly is leaving you worried?
.
DR SANYA: Everything! You seem to know too much…..
.
[ Right there on the phone, she smiled broadly….. Mary looked on #expectantly at me… I had to put the phone on speaker mode]
.
ADEOLA: Sanya, you are still as funny as ever. Why are u worried about the things I know? For now, let your interest remain on the things u need to know
.
[ Mary and I turned to look at each other in surprise]
.
DR SANYA: In that case, have you spoken with the man that will lead us to the okada rider? Has he given his consent to lead us to the okada rider u said poisoned Yusuf?
.
ADEOLA: Sanya, please calm down. Be anxious for nothing. Let me confess to u right now, there is no man anywhere….
.
DR SANYA: What!!!
.
[ Mary and I were so shocked to hear that again ]
.
ADEOLA: Yes, no man whatsoever anywhere. I only said that to buy time because I needed to talk to you privately
.
DR SANYA: Talk to me privately?
.
ADEOLA: Yes
.
DR SANYA: On what?
.
ADEOLA: On everything that is on ground….. I want to advise you to be more careful. Do not trust anybody….because throughout the time we were together with those people in the afternoon, it kept occurring to me that you are trusting too much and too much of everything is bad

DR SANYA: A-de-o-la…. you won’t stop amazing me. Who are those you are advising me to be more careful with exactly?

ADEOLA: Hummm, do u still remember that I told u this afternoon that huge surprises await u on this your investigation…..??
.
DR SANYA: Of course, I remember!
.
ADEOLA: Good. In that case, on everything u do on this matter, be watchful of your back…
.
[ At this point, my Mary was becoming uncomfortable….., I could see it on her face]
.
DR SANYA: So, what about finding that okada rider?
.
ADEOLA: Tell your people to meet me at that same venue tomorrow, ….same time! I am taking you to the guy myself. I want to personally hand over the killer of Yusuf to u
.
[ It sounded so interesting to me because it means we were gradually getting to the end of our investigation…. but again, I was scared of what this whole thing holds for me….I appreciated her so much and d call ended there….I had to start talking to my Mary who had been so uncomfortable since….Time was already few minutes after 9pm]

DR SANYA: Dear, u don’t look good, what’s the matter?
.
MARY: I am no more comfortable with this your so-called investigation again…. it’s becoming dangerous and I am thinking u should drop it, after all u are a medical doctor and not a police detective
.
DR SANYA: Dear, are u getting scared?
.
MARY: Shouldn’t I be scared? Honey, can’t you read between the lines? There is more to this matter…. Yusuf is dead and gone, no investigation can bring him back to life again. You see, in this life, some words are better left #unspoken!

DR SANYA: Hmmmm, you have a point…. I will think about it.

>>>Is it true that I need to back down on this mission? If I do, I may never get to know d mystery surrounding my mother’s death…. I was eager to know the possible connection between my mother’s death and that of Yusuf.

>>>Mary and I later slept that night so troubled….. Getting to office the following morning, I called my co-private investigators on phone to tell them we were meeting at the same restaurant, same time. Mrs Yusuf tried asking me some questions regarding the man that will lead us to the okada rider but I wasn’t ready to answer her…..

>>> At around 10: 30am in the morning, everyone of us was already at the restaurant, expecting Adeola to arrive….While we were waiting, I never told them about all that Adeola told me on phone…. She has said I should be more careful….So, I secretly sent her a text informing her that I haven’t told them anything about all we discussed on phone o….. She finally showed up at exactly 11:05am. She apologized for coming late and the meeting commenced in earnest after exchanging pleasantries…..

MRS YUSUF:Thanks for finally accepting to assist us

ADEOLA: Common, what are friends for? If you guys are set, let’s go find the okada rider……
.
[Everybody on seat was surprised because they were still expecting Adeola to take them to the other man that will then lead them to the rider…… ]

ADEOLA: Don’t worry guys, we are going straight to d okada rider’s house….
.
[ Everybody appeared happy….. We left the restaurant and d six of us drove straight to a beautiful house at the #outskirt of the town under the leading of Adeola…… Getting to the house, we all entered…..we took our seats right inside the well-furnished living room…….You won’t believe that it belonged to a #bachelor okada rider…… We all looked so expectant….]

ADEOLA: Let’s relax guys, Dayo will soon be with us
.
NURSE GBEMI: Is that his name?
.
ADEOLA: Yes!
.
[ Behold, a young guy in his early twenties came out to us from the inner room…. Seeing Dr Korede, he looked a bit surprised, I seemed to be the only person who noticed it…..]

DAYO: (Talking to Adeola) Are these the people?
.
ADEOLA: Yes, they are!….. The game is up, they are here because of Yusuf’s death… Don’t mis-understand them, they are not here to arrest you, they just want to peacefully know why you painfully killed their Yusuf
.
DAYO: Common Adeola, why are u trying to destroy me? Afterall, I have apologized to you that I never knew he was your ex-guy….

ADEOLA: I’m not here for any personal reason, I forgave you then. But if u can still remember, I told u that u haven’t heard the last on the killing….. I told you that day that if his relatives ever come to me on his death, I will expose you and you will have to apologise to them too. So, here they are before you today.

MRS YUSUF: Young man, why did u kill my husband?

DAYO: I did not kill him
.
MR RASAQ: Then, who did?
.
DAYO: I was sent
.
DR SANYA: By who?
.
[ Dayo, the okada rider turned to Dr Korede at once]

DAYO: Doctor Korede, please tell your people now how Mr Yusuf died

[ Everyone of us on seat, except Adeola was shocked to the point of #collapsing….We all turned to Dr Korede]

DR SANYA: Doctor….. You heard him…..

[Dr Korede managing to talk…..I remained the only person who could still talk…. Others were #dumbfounded due to shock]
.
DR KOREDE: Yes, Dayo simply carried out an assignment given to him on Yusuf….
.
DR SANYA: An assignment given to him…., by who?
.
DR KOREDE: It was given to him by one Mr Folarin Williams Aladejoba
.
DR SANYA: What!!!!!

[ I couldn’t believe my ears…….]

DR KOREDE: Do you know him?
.
DR SANYA: Mr Folarin Williams Aladejoba is my biological father………..
.
>>> Could it be true that my own biological father was the one who sent Dayo, the okada rider to terminate Yusuf’s life? If yes, why? ……What was the involvement of my own assistant doctor in all this? Is Dr Korede also an assassin?

>>>Definitely, this must be part of d #surprises that Adeola talked about…… But if all these are connected to my mother’s death, it won’t be funny oo
