The killers guild - Season 1 - Episode 93

“Lance!! Lance!!” Frank shook Lance who had fallen asleep in his seat at the restaurant. “Lance wake up.”

“What is it man?” Lance says absent mindedly. “What time is it?”

“It’s eight o’clock,” Frank says. “The club should be opened by now.”

“What club?” Lance asked.
“Seriously?” Frank asked raising a curious eyebrow..

“Just kidding,” Lance says with a smile, now fully awake. “Now, let’s go fulfill our destiny.”

“I don’t see why you’re in such a cocky mood, when we might just be walking right into our deaths.” Frank says while they walk out of the restaurant towards their car.

“Are you scared?” Lance asks poking Frank in the ribs with his elbow.

“I’m not scared,” Frank says. “I’m just been reasonable.”

“Good,” Lance says, swaying from left to right. “Because I don’t see any reason why you should be afraid of a guy that calls himself the devil’s son in law.” Lance says with a short laugh.

“It’s not even about the guy, it’s the club.” Frank says with a serious tone. “It’s a dangerous place; chances are we might get mobbed by the crowd before we even approach this guy. They are all just a bunch of highly aggressive outlaws.”

“No need to be afraid, we’ll just have to blend in with the crowd,” Lance says slipping into the passenger side of the car. “And if you do get scared later on, you can just hide behind me and I’ll handle everything you don’t have to worry, we alphas always have to look out for you softies.”

“I’m not afraid,” Frank says, turning the car’s ignition. “All I’m saying is we should play it cool and exercise some caution.”

“Playing it cool? That’s my thing but cautiousness is not really my thing, I prefer to burst in there, Kick a-s and take names, burn the place down, now that’s my thing.” Lance says.

“Your thing is going to get us killed.” Frank says, shaking his head. “I think you had too much beer, you’re obviously drunk.”

“Too much beer?” Lance asks in disbelief. “You can never have too much beer and by the way I only ordered for three beers those are not too much.”

“You ordered for three beers, three times.” Frank says, parking the car in front of the club. “You’re as drunk as a skunk, you can barely stand.”

“I’ll have you know that I am an expert at not getting drunk,” Lance says. “No matter how many beers I have, I never get drunk.” He added.

“I’m not going to argue with you again.” Frank says, stepping out from the vehicle. “I’ve had enough for one night.”

“Good for you,” Lance says, alighting from the vehicle as well. “No need arguing with someone smarter than you.”

The club was now open and buzzing with excitement, loud music from the club filled the entire neighborhood. There was a long line of crowd standing outside the club, a huge bouncer stood at the entrance.

“Would you look at that!!” Lance exclaimed.
“Yeah, I know it’s going to be hard to get pass that guard but if we play it cool and…” Frank was saying.

“No no no,” Lance cuts in. “I meant the chicks man, so hot.” Lance waved at one of the girls standing in the queue. The girl smiled and winked back at him.

“You know she’s probably got a pistol hidden under that skirt right?” Frank whispered to lance.

“Oh, I’m sure she’s got bigger guns hidden under that cover.” Lance says with a sheepish grin. “Come on let’s go.” He added staggering towards the crowd.

“Listen,” Frank says, holding him back. “Maybe we should wait till the crowd had dispersed, wouldn’t want to attract too much attention.”

“Fine have it your own way Mr. Caution,” Lance says.

“Good, I’m glad you ag….” Frank was saying.
“After I get that chicks number,” Lance says walking away towards a blonde lady standing in the crowd.

“Hey there doll face.” Lance greeted with a smile.

“Hy,” She replied.

“You know you might be asked to leave soon. You are making the other women look bad.” Lance says and the lady bursts into laughter. “I mean seriously someone ought to call the fire department cause mama you’re smoking hot.”

“Keep talking.” The lady says gleefully obviously intrigued by Lance’s advances.

“As much as I’d love to talk all night long with you, I just can’t get enough of that sweet voice of yours, its music to my ears,” Lance says. “So what’s your name?”
“Vanessa.” She says.

“Vanessa, a beautiful name for an even more beautiful person.” Lance says bringing out his phone. “I just lost my number Vanessa, can I have yours?”

She laughed and gave him her number. “Call me.” She says giving him a playful wink.

“I will doll.” Lance says before walking back to Frank.

“What was that all about?” Frank asks.
“Remember when I said we had to blend in? Well that was me blending in.” Lance says.

Frank did not bother to give a response; they waited till the crowd had fully dispersed into the club before making their way to the entrance.

“The club is full,” The bouncer says blocking their paths. “Come back never.”

“What’s with the attitude big guy?” Lance asks.

“What’s with the attitude?” The bouncer yelled. “That was my girl you were hitting on earlier poo face.”

“I wasn’t aware man,” Lance says. “I’m honestly sorry.”

“You two look like trouble makers anyways and my job is to prevent trouble makers like you from entering this club,” The bouncer says. “So you two better leave now before I break your faces.”

Frank pulled Lance aside and says. “This guy’s not going to let us in what are we going to do.”
“Do you still have the case we took from the goons earlier?” Lance asks.

“Yeah, it’s in the car.” Frank says.

“Go get it.” Lance says and Frank rushed off.
“Alright, I’ve got it.” Frank says as he returned with the case.

“Good, now follow my lead.” Lance says walking back to the club’s entrance.

“Didn’t I tell you guys to beat it already?” The guard says.

“You must be fresh on the job.” Lance says.
“No, I’ve been working here for three years.” The bouncer replied.

“No wonder you didn’t recognize us,” Lance says with a smile. “Only the true oldies around here know us, my colleague and I were regulars around here some six years ago.” Lance says.

“Yeah right.” The guard says unconvincingly.
“Well,” Lance says. “What if I tell you that we were specially invited tonight by one of the VIP’s? Ain’t that right Marco?” Lance says, directing his question to Frank.

“Who’s Mar….” Frank was saying but Lance poked him in the ribs with his elbow before he could finish. “Oh,” Frank says, now getting the drill. “Uhm… Yeah Fernando and I were specially invited by the devil’s son in law himself. We have some very important transaction with him.” Frank added patting the briefcase.

“Do you know what this is, son?” Lance asked.
“What is it?” The bounce asked curiously.
“It’s sugar.” Lance whispered.
“I don’t believe you.” The bouncer says. “Show me.”

“No can’t do, my good man. This are only meant for the Razor’s eyes to see.” Frank says.

“Well, I still don’t believe you.” The bouncer says.

“In that case why don’t you go and ask the man if he’s expecting any visitors.” Lance says.
“Fine,” The bouncer says. “But if this turns out to be a lie which I’m sure it is. You two pansies are going to wish you were never born you hear me?”

“Fine by us.” Lance says.
“Wait here,” The bouncer says. “I’ll be right back.”

As soon as the bouncer turned his back Lance winked at Frank who instantly clobbered the bouncer at the back of the head with the case. The bouncer staggered forward holding his head but he managed to hold his ground. He turned around furiously like a wounded tiger, he tried to pounce on Frank but Frank saw him coming and quickly sidestepped him.

Frank attempted to strike him again with the case but the bouncer knocked it away from his grasp which his huge arm. The bouncer tried punching Frank in the face with a force that would have knocked his head right off his neck but Frank managed to dodge and he struck the bouncer in the nose, he then followed up on his assault with some quick jabs to the bouncer’s ribs. The bouncer grabbed Frank by the throat with his huge hands but Frank managed to break free by kneeing the bouncer in the crotch. Frank threw some few punches to the man’s head for good measures; all this just seems to aggravate the bouncer even more as he doubled his resolve. The bouncer rushed at Frank and grabbed him by the shoulder, both men wrestled for a while, Frank surprisingly holding his ground against the big guy, but the guard eventually overpowered and pinned him to the ground.
“All right I’ve seen enough.” Lance says as he walked up behind the bouncer with the case in his hand, he brought the case down on the bouncer’s skull with a full force and the man passed out instantaneously.

“You couldn’t knock a guy out with a single blow in the head?” Lance asked with a mocking tone whilst Frank was getting back up on his feet. “That was Zach’s specialty. You really should work out a lot more, softie.”
