Two side of a coin - Season 1 - Episode 18

After the in-house party, Kimberly took me to a movie premiere and then to a snack bar. We order for sandwich and soft drinks.

Kimberly: I never knew your mother war such a great dancer.

Lucia: Me too. I know she dances but not tha good.

Kimberly: That’s why i said you got nothing of her.

Lucia: Arent you suppose to be nice, its my birthday for crying out loud.

Kimberly: Oh! Sorry birthday girl but your dance sU-Cks.

Lucia: It does i even considere taking dance classes but i guess it was not in my jurisdiction.

Kimberly: I’m sure its not that bad.

Lucia: I appreciate the sarcasm.

Kimberly: What about the movie ?

Lucia: Very interesting. I enjoyed it.

Kimberly: Am sure you did.

Lucia: Why do you say that ?

Kimberly: You were almost crying.

Lucia: I wasnt

Kimberly: Yes you were, i saw the tears in your eyes.

Lucia: The movie was so emotional, i couldnt help it.

Kimberly: Hmm.

Lucia: Dont laugh.

Kimberly: I wasnt.

We both laughed. Hello ladies came a voice and i thought it was familier.

Indeed it was familier when i looked up and saw Chris standing with flowers.

Kimberly: Hello, you made it.

Lucia: What are you doing here ?

Kimberly: I invited him.

Lucia: Isnt three a crowd.

Kimberly: No because the more the merier. Come on its your it your birthday.

Chris: Happy birthday.

Lucia: ( collecting the flowers from him) Thank you. They look nice and smells good too.

Kimberly: Have a seat.

Chris: Thanks. It was nice of you to invite me.

Kimberly: Oh no! Its was nice of you to have come.

Lucia: Um! Excuse me, i need to use the restroom.

Kimberly: Dont be long.

Lucia: I’ll be right back.

Chris: Why is it that, she doesnt like me ?

Kimberly: Ofcourse she does.

Chris: Then why cant she be nice to me on a day like this ?

Kimberly: Just give her time, i’m sure she will warm up to you.

Chris: Its like it is taking forever for her to warm up to me.

Kimberly: Just be patience.

When i came back from the restroom, i resumed my seat but i was not as verbal as i was before he came.

Chris: How was your birthday party.

Lucia: It was fun.

While we chatted, i tried to avoid his own contribution as much as i can. I dont why Kimberly invited him in the first place. I was relieved when kimberly looked at her watch and gasped.

Kimberly: Ooops! I guess our adventure has ended, its late, its time to go.

Chris: Thanks so much for including me in the day, i had a wonderful time.

Kimberly: Same here.

As we were living, Kimberly urged me to say something to him. I hasitated and then finally said:

Lucia: Thanks for the flowers and also for making the time out.

Chris: You are most welcome.

We said goodbye and went our seperate ways.
