'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2071 Recap - Aired: Friday 30 June 2017

Salewa and her friends are home.
Shoshanna is doing Helen's makeup.
Helen complains that she is tired.
Sho says she will soon be done.

Salewa says she feels bad for Maami.
Helen suggests they go to the village to see Baami.
Sho says she can't go with them.
She suggests a phone call.

Salewa calls him and he's happy to hear from her.
She begs him to call Maami as she's missing him and if not that she signed a contract, she would have come to the village.He says he will call her just because of Salewa.
She thanks him.

Sheila returns to the living room to meet just la!de.
She asks la!de where Amaka and Dikibo are.
la!de says they left; Amaka was asking a lot of questions about Nero and Dikibo looked embarrassed.
Sheila asks why.
la!de says she mentioned that it might have been Nero on the phone with Sheila.
Sheila asks why she said that.
la!de says Dikibo was worried about Sheila so she told him that Joanne and Nero have been supportive.
She asks if Nero is not her friend.
Sheila says she's sorry.

She calls Nero and asks to call her when he gets the message because Amaka is back and asking a lot of questions.

Maami is about to leave the house.
She tells Shoshanna to let Salewa know she's gone out.
Her phone rings and it's Baami.
She ignores it and says after he abandoned her, he's calling.
Sho tells her to just answer.

She answers and accuses him of flirting around.
He says she abandoned him.
She says she will come and see him so they can iron things out.
By the end of the call, she's smiling.

Serena comes to see Charles in the office.
Rhoda is having a meeting with Charles.
Charles tells Serena that they just signed Alexis to an exciting project with Phoenix Prime.
Serena is excited at first then she asks if he said Phoenix Prime.
He asks if something is wrong.
She says something is definitely wrong.
She asks how he could do that to her.

Rhoda excuses them.

Charles says he was doing what was best for Alexis.
Serena says she is Alexis' mother and should know best.

Charles gets a call from IK inviting him to a meeting.

Charles asks Serena what the real problem is.
She says she came to Odyssey because she didn't want to work with Brenda
She stands up and he reminds her that she signed a contract.
She tells him to unsign it.
She storms out.

Dikibo and Amaka are at home.
Dikibo says he will go and show Tochi around.

Amaka calls Nero and says she was surprised to learn that he's still in town.
He says he changed his mind.
She asks if he can join her lunch.
He says not today.

Shoshanna tells Salewa and Helen what happened with Maami and Baami.
Salewa is very excited.

Helen gets a call from her supervisor asking her to come and pick her approved project.
Her friends rejoice with her.

Dikibo is at the office with Dr. Gyang.
He says he wanted to stay longer on his honeymoon but didn't want to bore Amaka.
Dr. Gyang says she's his wife and shouldn't be bored.
Dikibo says he wants to give her time to get used to being his wife.
Dr. Gyang says she will come around.

Charles calls Brenda and says they need to meet before the meeting with IK.
Brenda says they can meet 30 minutes before IK joins them.

Brenda meets Charles at a restaurant.
He asks her what's going on between her and Serena because Serena flipped when she heard Alexis would work with Phoenix Prime.
Brenda says their agreement was that Charles would handle Alexis.
Charles asks why she didn't warn him.
She says she was under no obligation so he should do his job in making sure neither Alexis nor her mother gives them any trouble.

Nero is having lunch at Sheila's.
He tells her that Amaka called and wanted to have lunch but he didn't think it was a good idea.
Sheila says he turned he down.
He says he did it as politely as possible.
She asks why he turned her down since she's a married woman and it's not like it will mean anything.
He reminds her that even she felt awkward when she heard Amaka was asking about him.
Sheila says maybe Amaka's just concerned about him and wondering if he's doing the wrong thing.
He asks if he is.
She doesn't respond.
He says if it's that easy, then why didn't she tell Amaka about them?
She says it's not that easy.
He says okay, their girl code, you don't date your friend's ex.
Sheila says Amaka is not exactly her friend; she was adopted by her ex.
Nero says adopted is the operative term.
She tells him not to be that guy that would say anything to justify anything.
He holds her hand and says being with her is worth it.

Amaka walks in and says hello to them.
Sheila pulls her hand from Nero's and faces her food.
Amaka looks disgusted.

Chuks returns home from work.
He tries to have a conversation with Ene but her responses are in monosyllables.
He asks if they are fighting.
She tells him to ask her mother since she's the one he runs to
He says since she won't listen to him, she would listen to her mother.
She tells him to continue
He asks if he's now a bad husband because she doesn't have a generator; soon now she will get insecticide and finish him off like a fly.
She laughs and he joins her.
He tells her that if he had the money, she would live in luxury.

Amaka asks for Freddie.
Sheila says he's not back.
She asks if there is something she needed Nero's help with seeing as he has been a vey positive influence in Freddie's life.
Nero says he and Sheila are there because they want to be.
She says okay.
He says things shouldn't be anymore awkward as they are adults.
Sheila begs him to stop.
Nero holds Sheila hand and says the reason he's still in town is because he and Sheila are seeing each other and he thinks it's high time Amaka knew about it.
Sheila is unable to look at Amaka.

IK and Mimi arrive for the meeting.
Brenda and Charles are shocked to see Mimi.
IK says Mimi now works for Invest Africana and will be supervising Odyssey and Phoenix Prime throughout the production process, she will be his ears and eyes so they will have to report to her at all times.
