'Jemeji' Season 1 Episode 177 Recap- Aired: Tuesday 07 November 2017

Folake is at the lodge, talking on the phone with Obi.
Ndidi is sleeping on the sofa.

Folake tells Obi that his sister slept there.

Ndidi wakes up and thanks Folake for letting her stay over.
Folake says it's okay.
Ndidi says her baby was a boy.
Folake asks what happened.
Ndidi says she knew a guy since they were kids and was going to get married to him but her father refused because he didn't like people from the boy's part of the country; when she got pregnant, she thought her father would approve but he looked at her with disdain when he found out and she could see the hatred in his eyes.
She starts crying.
Folake tells her she doesn't have to continue.
Ndidi says he beat her and hit her stomach so she would lose the baby.
Folake asks about the boy.
Ndidi says she told him she had an abortion and that she didn't want to see him again.
Folake asks why she did that.
Ndidi tells her to imagine what her father could do to the guy.

Senami is sitting outside the lodge.
Dethin comes to let her know Mausi wants her.

Folake and Ndidi come outside.
Folake asks if Senami wants to go with Dethin.
Senami says yes.
Folake says she doesn't understand what's going on and what Senami and Dethin are always going to do.
Ndidi asks who Dethin is.
Folake says people call her the queen of darkness because anytime she shows up, something bad happens.
Senami tells them it's okay.

Senami enters her room.
She gets a call from Kingsley and asks how he has the nerve to call her.
Kingsley says it was an accident and he's not stupid enough to have wanted to kill Oviyon in front of witnesses.
Senami asks if he's being serious.
He says his reflexes are not so sharp because of the injuries he sustained from Oviyon's beatings.
He says who knows what would have happened if Senami wasn't there.
She asks what he means.
He says she can pretend the others didn't notice but he saw for himself and people are right in calling her a witch.
She says no.
He tells her not to pretend not to know; he wonders how it feels that she can kill people but he guesses it's okay since she has the power to save them.
He hangs up and smirks.

Senami passes a plastic bag outside, through her window.

Daddy Love comes to Iya Oviyon's house with a keg of Palm wine.
He drops it and says he's leaving since she's looking at him funny.
She tells him to sit.
He asks what she thinks about his proposal.
She asks what proposal that is.
He says she's too hot-tempered and can ask him whatever she wants but in a calmer tone and he hopes she won't be that way when they get married.
She gets upset and tells him to leave with his palm wine if that's the reason he brought it.
He complains about her character and says she's driven everyone away all because she of her attitude.
She tells him not to be offended.
He says she's apologising again.
She offers him some Palm wine.

Senami is about to leave the lodge.
Folake stops her and asks what's going on.
Senami says it's a medical thing.
Folake tells Ndidi that Senami never believed in anything diabolical when she just came to Aji but now she's been paying repeated visits to the shrine which means something has changed.

Dethin walks in with her Calabash.
Folake tells Senami to start leaving.

Senami and Dethin get outside.
Dethin waits while Senami gets the plastic bag from outside her window.

Oviyon is on his farm.
He gets a call from Nowheyon.
She informs him that the grant has been approved.
He shouts for joy and thanks her.

Folake and Ndidi come to the shrine to meet Obi.
Folake tells him that his father is a monster.
Obi says he knows.
Folake says Obi doesn't know the half of it.
Ndidi tells him she was pregnant and lost her baby.
He's surprised.
Folake says her father beat her so bad that she lost the baby.
Obi bounces off his throne.
Folake begs him not to go and hit him.
Ndidi says fighting him won't do anything.
Obi asks what he should do.
Ndidi says she has an idea.

Iya Oviyon is sitting outside her house.
She sees Peace walking by and she asks if there is any issue between them because Peace always looks upset when she sees her.
Peace says it was Iya who cut her off after her relationship with Oviyon ended and she even told her that her mother abandoned her.
Iya apologises to her and says it's because she was upset as the relationship didn't work out with Oviyon and now she has realised her behaviour turns people away from her so she wants to apologise.
She hugs her and tells her that Jonah is a good boy.
They chat about the wedding.

Folake suggests Obi sends his boys to roughen his father a little.
Ndidi says it won't work.
Folake says they can arrest him.
Ndidi says before they came to Aji, their father got into trouble with a police inspector and he ran to Aji to lay low.
Obi and Folake say they like that angle.
They ask if she has the phone number of the inspector so that they can call him.
Ndidi says she doesn't have it but they can get it when they make a few calls.

Senami comes to the shrine.
She tells Mausi what happened to Oviyon and says she doesn't know how he escaped.
Mausi asks what Kingsley gave as his excuse.
Senami says she never mentioned Kingsley.
Mausi says Senami needs to understand there are higher powers that sometimes choose us.
Senami asks what she means.
Mausi says it means Senami has a purpose and has been chosen.
Senami says she should know Mausi would never give straight answers.

She opens the cellophane bag and brings out her grandfather's hands.
She asks if Mausi can help her with them.

Mausi pulls back and asks where Senami got them.
Senami drops the hands close to Mausi.
Mausi cowers in fear and tells Senami to get them away from her.
