The Game Plan

I slept on the bed like someone that has been sick for four days
without food, i hope and pray Faith wont fu-Ckup oh because i really
need to complete this plan or else i will lose glory forever,.

I relax for my bed till 7pm sick wey i nor sick before, the sickness
come they enter my body small small, you know sometimes in the evening sleep
they bring fever come for person body, but the one wey they come now i
hope no be real one oh, around after seven i heard knock on my door,
though i didnt lock it sha, i do like person wey nor hear, the person
knock again, when e say i nor open door the person open the door,

Glory and Faith come inside and lock the door, they switch on the normal
light and saw me lieing on my bed, glory was so touch that she throw
her handbag away and sit down close to me for the bed.

Glory: baby, am so sorry its now Faith told me you have malaria and
thats why you have to go home.
For my mind i was smilling and outside i be like person wey cool wan
kill and Faith they there they laugh

Me: its alright its just a little fever.

Glory: come on dear i know you, for you to miss lesson that thing must
be serious, have you eaten?

Me: no.

Glory: why and you take your drugs like that?

Me: i dont feel like eaten.
Faith cant control her laughter again in that she burst in laughing.

Glory: whats wrong Faith?
I stood up and remove my blanket I walk to the table and remove the cake (under rap) then I meet faith were she’s standing while Glory just sat on the bed looking at us in a confusing manner, then i open the cake and on the blue light and omon my room come they blue, na so Glory just stand for
front they confuse, she look around by he room and saw everywhere sparkling clean a lot of her pics on my wall.

Glory: whats going on?

I move closer to her and kneel down.

Me: baby happy birthday.

She was astonish with the way i arrange everything,.

Glory: wait wait wait wait, you mean this is all a plan to draw me here.

Faith: for love.

Glory: hmmm wey my guy no fit wish me happy birthday since last night.

Me: come on am sorry but its part of the plan, afterall you said i
should make it a day you wont forget, i hope you are ready for that, come on please just cut the cake I have other surprises.

Glory: hmmmm am was really angry with you for not been the first to tell me happy birthday.

Me: am really sorry but am still the first to celebrate it for you.

Glory: how can see three of us celebrate birthday, I would have invite my friends if I know earlier.

Faith: they are already waiting for us.

Glory: were?

Faith’ at China town.

Glory: waoh, this really is a big surprise.

Me: yeah so can you cut the cake now?
she carry the cake drop am for table then she carry my head closer to her and samma me wet kiss, omo I don dey wait for that kiss since.

Faith: eeehm make una no vex oh but them they wait for us, cut the cake make we dey go na.

Glory: make them wait na, I think say we suppose cut the cake for the party.

Me: this one is just preliminary.

Glory: hmmmmm

Me: come on dear lets go.

Glory: no am shy i cant go oh.

Me: what do you mean?

Glory: I don’t really know but I just like staying here with two of you and celebrate it here.

Me: but the party is for you.

Faith: for us..

Me: dear what is it?

Glory: this is my first time, am really greateful but i dont why i
just dont feel like going.

Me: come on dear, this is a day you should not miss, so please do it for me.

We persuade her very well until she agreed to go, then we took
everything we need and of course i took my gift i bought for her and
we hed to chinatown.
