The Mysterious Twenty Thousand Naira - Season 1 - Episode 14

After The Reggae Play The Blues

When we reach i even surprise to see many people like thirty of our
school mate, waoh na where them pass come out i hope my money go reach
oh, as we reach there they welcome her with birthday song, she was
very shy hiding her face on my shoulder, all of us go upstair and leave
the downstair for people wey they drink, we all sat in round table
and drink, eat and dance, of course Glory wont dance except i join
her, so we enter stage everybody clap for us, i dance as i sabi even
though i nor know how to dance but glory dey dance sha, i nor know say she
sabi dance before i na now i see her dance step, evrybody was happy
and when i was alone drinking at one table, i look at glory from where
she was dancing with her mate, i smiled.
I excuse myself and go downstairs, i meet the bar man and ask him how
much we don spend, he told me small amount and i was happy, i return
back to the grove and saw Glory sitting alone waiting for me.
I go there go meet her.

Me: wetin birthday girl sit down here they do wey your friends they dance.

Glory: am tired oh and i need to rest so i look around and i didnt see
my boyfriend so i decided to wait for him. here.

Me: hmmm am glad you are happy.

Glory: thanks to you am overjoy with happiness,.

Me: am glad to hear that.
I look at her face and i saw happines truly, day don they dark e go
they like eleven now, so everybody begin they go house, as them they go
everybody they drop something for glory, me and she just sit down for
red chair, she wear red gown while me wear complete normal wear,
after people don go finish e come remain me and she including Faith,
then we park everything wey them give her inside bag, i calld the
barman and pay him, then we commot for the bar and enter road they go
house, i dey very tired the best thing now na to go sleep oh, as we
enter house all of us relax for bed including Faith, she cannot go
house today because its dark, and of course shes waitng for her own
share, she try sha for her parole and na she even organise the party,
i even think she deserve more than what we bargain for.

As all of us relax for bed, i got up and lock the door very well, the
girls don they sleep, so i arrange them well for bed while me relax
for carpet, the way wey Faith sleep they seductive oh, she just sleep
open leg down as if she they her papa house, and the way Glory come
they snore come they vex me, i nor know why she they always snore like
that, i try to sleep on the carpet because i nor wan disturb those
girls, but sleep no come, i dont know why but sleep no come, so i took
my phone and walk outside, i go backward and sit down for cement floor
for there and begin watch moving, i put my earphone to reduce noise,
our compound they fenced so no wahala, as i they watch the film i nor
know when somebody touch me for my shoulder, i was shock and i stood
up immediately and shout Jesus.
