I drove down to east orange as fast as possible, finally i was at east high, i met a lady who told me the rest on the competition would be done in greenville. I got into the car, reversed it and was off to green ville

***schoool*****

the contestant for the speech was finding it dificult dew to the impromtu changes that was made, but he tried his best though, looks like he had nothing to say and kept stammering once in a while

*****mum&dad*****

Dad: honey you did the right thing he said hugging her
Mum: yup deep down it feel right too
Dad: come on lets go see our baby perform
they got dressed hopped into the car and drove off. I was pretty close to my school, come on baby just wait a little bit, dee is coming i said to myself as i drove into the school. I saw a boy walking towards the gate.
Me: hey man hows the school competition going
boy: east high is giving there speech and greenville doesnt have a representative. Thanks man with this i ran to mrs queen office to find he sittin her palms covering her face
Me: hello mrs queen
mrs queen: mr lance where have you been she said as she took me to the hall were the competition was taking place. We have to hurry east high would soon be done with there speech and sorry the speech was changed, now it a motivation for the audience and they decides who win
Me: what how i am supose to do that??? She wasnt even listening to me.
Judge: uhmmm nice try east high congratulation so lets hear from our audien……just then i stepped in, and everyone looked stuned.

Then i heard a loud yell from greenville’s student.

Goodday wonderful ladies and gentlemen (really i didnt know what to say, just then mum and dad walked in, the smile on my face that moment was enough to encourage the audience) my name is desire lance for the sake of formality you can call me mr. Lance(jnr).

******MY SPEECH******

All my life have lived in Nj, my home town is here in NJ, while grew up, i was like swimmer with muscles cramps struggling to stay afloat, i was like a kid jumping over hurdles and kept stumbling over. But then when i look back i saw my two life guards and coaches always behind me, each time i go trippin, they kept reminding me how strong i was and thats what kept me going. Then i got to high school, i was a racer, almost to the finish point i got a harm string, i began to hopp through, trying not to give up, then someone else helped me hopped through.

And inspite all life challenges the doctor said i was prone to schizophrenia. To me life is not about who you are its about who you wanna be, its not about were you want to go, its about were you ought to be. You shouldnt focus of life obstacles because they aint a reference. There are always times when you fall real bad, but courage gets you back on your feet, dust your shirt and say to your self it doesnt matter how many times i fall or stumble, am still gonna be standing. Always go for the best, keep your mind on that beautiful picture, everyday that breaks theres always a tomorrow. You might not be perfect but you’d be the closet thing to perfection. I never knew how i got to say this but somehow my eyes felt wet. Then i heard the crowd yelling thats the man!!!!!!
