Enoch was taken to court a week after the incident.

The judge sentenced him to five years imprisonment.

[7/7, 1:45 PM] Evanz: Amanda was also imprisoned for three years.

She was seen as an accomplice in the eyes of the judge.

The court ruled that Enoch paid my money for me with three months
interest else his imprisonment would be extended to eight years.

I was so relieved on hearing the judge’s pronouncement.

Enoch was in tears throughout the court’s section.

He knew in mind that the court would not rule in his favour.

The other accused person,Amanda somehow controlled herself that day in court.

Before the final verdict was pronounced the judge sitting on the case had
already adjourned the case on three occasions.

[7/7, 2:06 PM] Evanz: The last adjournment was due on Monday and
it was supposed to be the last meeting for the case.

Before the court’s section that day,I woke up at dawn to pray for the judge to rule in my favour.

[7/7, 3:43 PM] Evanz: I was so tensed because the first two proceedings were to me seemed in favour of the accused.

My lawyer had to do an extra work in order to convince the judge rule in our favour.

It was not an easy task in the courthouse that faithful
Monday but my lawyer was crowned victorious after the verdict.

I was indeed mesmerized by the final verdict pronounced by Judge Atogugba that day.

His verdict seemed so concise and confusing that the ordinary man in court that day could not understand.

My lawyer screamed and hugged me after Judge Atogugba had finished his
pronouncement informing me that we had won the case.

Even I an educated elite could not understand what the judge just said.

I was so happy after my lawyer had informed me that we had won.

Enoch together with Amanda were escorted by some
policemen to a police vehicle which was waiting to convey them to the prison.

Amanda stopped by me to apologise for what she had done trying to connive with Enoch to fraud me.

She had her face bowed down when she spoke to me.

I told her that I had forgiven her and she asked the policemen to take her away.

She must have pleaded with them to allow her apologise to me which they did.

Enoch paid back the money just the judge asked him to in a week’s time.

*I was so sorry for Gloria for all that she had gone through.

From the story she narrated to me I noticed that she had been from one relationship to the other
but she was very unlucky for not having a
true lover, someone who would cherish and love her for just who she was.

I made a promise to her that I would do my best to love
her as she deserved but first I had to tell her about my girlfriend.

I narrated my story to her too and told her that I was ready to live my girlfriend
for her because I realised she never loved me,she was just a good pretender.

I told her to give me sometime to finally break up
with my girlfriend so we could be together and she agreed.

I broke up with Bernice after she had rained insults on me one hot afternoon for just a minor issue.

Gloria and I leave on the 23rd street at Tema together with three kids twins who are boys and the third born Tawiah being a girl….

THE END.
