Must Read: CHEATERS - Season 1 - Episode 87

***PROLOGUE***

The following novel is an unfolded true life story.

The story speaks of greediness as a major disability
in most young growing folks when choosing a life partner for themselves.

The ladies they choose are mostly their friends’ Ex girlfriends but they care less
because they themselves go into the relationship with the pretense of marriage
which most girls like because they want to
settle down after flirting with many boyfriends.

Unfortunately for the antagonist, the ladies he chose
where high class girls not ready to settle down with one man
because they were not done with the enjoyment of life.

Some say it is greediness that let the crab not to get a head.

The story dwells on greediness as a major factor of the
antagonist’s failure to get a true lover for marriage.

He however blames it on demons attack on him.

Little did he know that his own mindset of choosing a wife made him get wrong choices.

He mostly went in for his friends’ Ex girlfriends which he thought
they did nothing wrong for his friends to break up with them.

His sympathy for those girls gave them chances to get money and other gifts from him.

The story unfolds like this….

Gideon was a trained teacher from College who had just written his final exams
and was awaiting his results before he would be confirmed.

He was asked by his superiors to go change his SSNIT to biometric.

He had done that some few weeks after his letter came with his station posted on it.

Gideon was lucky that he had gotten the district where he had chosen.

Most of his colleagues had not been post to the districts they had chosen to teach.

Some of his friends were posted at the North where
they grumbled because they never liked that place.

Gideon was posted to his hometown Akropong where he seek his sponsorship.

His dad had asked him to stay home before he went to a
place of his choice after four years when he could seek for a transfer.

[7/13, 3:58 AM] Evanz: Gideon had already done his Out programme teaching in the
township of Adjikpo,a suburb of Somanya in the Eastern part of Ghana.

His Out-segment was for eight months after which he wrote his final five papers.

Little did he thought of teaching as a profession after he completed Senior High.

To him,he preferred being a male nurse to teaching.

Neither of the two professions was his choice of work he thought
of doing before completing Senior High but due to the unemployment
rate of University graduates sitting in their houses with no hope of jobs,he had no option than to defray his mind from
becoming a Journalist he had always dreamt of to either choose Nursing or teaching,an ultimatum given him by his father.

But for his dad,Gideon would have chosen Nursing over Teaching.

Even though both of these job requirements provided theirs
graduates with ready jobs unlike the Universities where a graduate
would have to be writing series of letters for an
interview to business institutions and centres.

His dad had chosen for him a training College and had paid a ransom of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis to a
man whose brother was a principal to a College.
His Dad did this to actually guarantee him of stepping into the College
because Gideon had an average mark of D7 in his Maths paper.

Bribes being the other of the day for higher educational
institutions were not mostly caused by Principals or Chancellors of these institutions but
parents who did not want their wards to sit years in their homes writing Nov-Dec papers because they
themselves saw it as a waist of time and money.

So they preferred paying something to the principals to
secure a place for their wards in these higher institutions.

Evanz:
Gideon heard someone call him fro behind and he turned.

He was shocked to see Anastasia moving towards him.

*Anastasia was Muhammed’s girlfriend given him by Asante a Colleague student.

She was fair in complexion,average height.

She wore a yellow stretch which brought out her feminine behind features.

Her beauty caught the eye of Gideon which made him wonder for sometime
in his head.He knew that Anastasia was pretty but little did he think of
such an outstanding dress outfit which could fit Anastasia so perfectly.

Her bra was also showing the surface part of her b----t which were moderately displayed.

She had applied some garnished oil on her boobs that even a Roman priest
could be tempted to ejaculate on seeing such displayed looks.

Gideon had already decided to date her in his mind so he asked of where she lived.

Anastasia gave directions of her house to him as Gideon listened with a corked ear.

“I will visit you tomorrow,hope you won’t be bothered or busy tomorrow…Gideon asked.

“Not at all Bro Gideon,but please come in the morning since my
mother will be sending me to collect some items for her later in the day…Anastasia replied.

Words could not describe Gideon’s joy and estasy on hearing Anas say those words.

He promised to keep that in mind by visiting in the morning other than in
evening when Anastasia would be sent by her mum.

They parted ways and Gideon had in mind dating his friend’s Ex,Anastasia but forgot to take her number….

[7/13, 4:58 AM] Evanz: He quickly called Muhammed on phone asking of his Ex Anastasia’s number.

Muhammed refused to give him Anas’ number and asked where he saw her instead.
“Man,as I came out from the SSNIT office,I heard a feminine voice call me from behind.

I was amazed to see Anastasia behind me.

She was the one who called me.

“Man,which Anastasia,is it the one I met in College or Out-Segment… Muhammed asked.

“See you,am talking about the girl Asante gave you during our Out segment.

That shs girl who could spend the whole week with
you having s-x with you as if it was a challenge battle…Gideon explained.

“Oh you mean that small s--t whom I f----d like five times a day….I go take her number whatsapp you.

Muhammed never asked why Gideon needed her number.

He just messaged him with her number on whatsapp as he promised.

*The sky was blue the next morning.The clouds were moving very fast in
the sky gathering up to form rain.

Gideon never knew that it was cloudy and about
raining that morning than he had stepped out from his room.

He felt some drizzling of rain on his arm which made him to look up into the sky.

The clouds had formed a horse and on the horse,an imaginary
figure like Christ Himself sat on the horse with a wrath.

It was as if the End had come that morning.

Lightening begun to struck and there came the downpour.

The rain was heard from a distance moving towards Gideon’s house.

He then remembered that he had dried some clothes on the drying line the previous day.
He run to the line to pick up the clothes and was wet by the rain.

He however did not give up for the clothes were somehow not drenched by the downpour.

Gideon was supposed to wear the clothes to visit Anastasia later in the day.

No sooner had he entered his room than the lights went out.

It was a black out.Gideon became very sad
because he had not ironed the clothes he would wear to visit Anastasia.

Maybe nature did not want him to visit his friend’s Ex after all.

[7/13, 5:56 PM] Evanz: No sooner had he thought of loosing hope in visiting Anastasia than the other tenants’ kids begun
making noise that the lights had been switched on.

A noise they usually made whenever there was light.

Gideon hurriedly went to check whether the lights had truly been switched on.

He switched on the light and there it was.

Light was essential in his vicinity because it was an urban town.

Whenever the black out came,the community became like a cemetery.

The lights however went off with no limit as if someone was pressing it on and off for fun.

One could count about the lights going dark for four times in a day.

Most of the inhabitants’ gadgets got spoilt day in and day out.

There had been several complains made to the Electricity
headquarters on how their black out had affected the general public ranging from spoiling
people’s items to preventing others from working.

All these complains were in vain as the workers did nothing to solve the issue at hand.

*Gideon picked up the clothes from his bed and headed towards the living room to iron his clothes.

The rain had halted and the sky had enlightened itself.

The sun begun appearing gently up high ready to dry up the rain running on the ground.

Gideon peeped through the window to see for himself if it had stopped raining.

He was shocked to see that even though there were some
drizzling,the rainbow had struck in the sky which meant that it was never going to rain again…

Gideon ironed his clothes hurriedly before he went out to bath.

He took his time looking in the mirror for more than thirty
minutes as if he had a date with the queen of England herself.

He sprayed himself with Chris Adams,a spray he bought
fifty cedis the previous day he saw Anastasia.

Gideon had changed not less than seven shirts before he was satisfied with himself.

He heard a knock on the door when he made up his mind to move out.

Gideon walked to the door thinking hard to guess who could be behind the door.

[7/14, 4:16 PM] Evanz: As he opened the door,the net gate creaked.

He was surprised to see Emelia his girlfriend whom she broke up with some
couple of weeks back.

“Honey please am sorry about all those filthy words I said to you
on phone,please find a place in your heart to forgive me…she beseeched.

Emelia had dated Gideon for five good years and
had been faithful until she met one guy who was a gold seller.

His name was Crosby.Crosby was a wealthy gold seller and he owned three excavators
which worked for him together with his own huge plot of land on which he mined the gold.

He had not less than fifty workers working on the site and he paid each and every one of them accordingly.

Emelia left Gideon for Crosby calling him all sought of names.

Nobody knew what had happened to their relationship which sent Emelia parking to her Auntie’s place.

She dared not go to her parents house for fear that they might flock her to death.

Emelia’s mum was strongly against she living Gideon for Crosby.

She had tried convincing her not to leave Gideon because he was the kind of man every
woman would want to live with but to no avail.

Finally her dad had warned her not to step foot in his house should her relationship with Crosby fall apart.

That was the main reason why she sought for refuge at her auntie’s place.

“Please Emmie,I don’t have time for you.

As you can see,I was going out before you came here so if you can
excuse me,I would like to close my door…Gideon asked politely.

“Please Gideon,am sorry.I know I shouldn’t have left you.Please forgive me.

I couldn’t go to my mum’s because my dad warned me not to step foot in his house
should my relationship not work out with Crosby.

I want you to know that I left him for good.

It wasn’t as if he left me.I dumped him first because he couldn’t match you.

Please give me five minutes of your time to explain things to
you before you can judge me…Emmie beseeched politely.

“Ohk you have just two minutes and please make it snappy
because as you can see I was moving out before you bumped in….Gideon finally gave in.

“Please come in and make yourself comfortable…Gideon said unlocking the door.

“Crosby was not the type of man I thought he was.

He dealt in cocaine killing humans for such purpose.

I never knew about his dubious activity of selling cocaine to the whites abroad.

He has a room in his house where he kept dead people his boys killed.

Crosby had warned me never to step foot in that particular room.

One day when he was out,I dared getting into the forsaken room.

What my eyes saw that day was very mind blowing.

I saw human parts scatted on a long table chopped with machetes.

They had been robbed from their skins and the bones had been
placed in a machine which grinded them into a white substance.

My mind tells me that white substances were used for the Cocaine.

I never knew that Crosby could be such a psycho.

So all the expensive cars you see around him,the houses and
the excavators, all had a source where he got his money.

[7/16, 6:15 AM] Evanz: I was so much confused on seeing dead bodies
sprung up in the room that I vomited like three times in a sink in there.

I took pictures of the room and its contents.

You can take a look if you want.

I saw a small room unlocked in the big room and I got in.

It was some kind of ritual room.It had blood stored in a huge barrel.

The room was decorated with violet lases and some idols.

There were also three coffins perching on the wall.

Who knows,maybe they had pulled some corpses from their graves too.

Nevertheless, I took pictures of that small room too.

The police have access to that too.

I mean I’ve already reported the case to
the central police station and they have the pictures too.

I kept my mouth shut when he arrived
in the evening and I told him that I wanted to visit my mum at the hospital.

I lied to him for him not to suspect a thing.

He wanted to accompany me but I
told him to stay and rest because he was tired which he agreed.

I was told by one
inspector Quame that he had been arrested just yesterday before I was relieved…
