Must Read: Confessions Of A Randy Houseboy

My world crashes to a thundering standstill! So Etim is dead! I
dont know when I spring at the doctor, as I pummelhim I screech,
”U killed him,u killed him!” Even as I do that one part of me
wonders if I am just putting up a show.


The Doctor tries to escape back ino the theatre but I block him
and deliver another deadly punch tohis fat belly, one of the
nurses run out calling for ”Shuaibu” urgently.


She soon returns with Shuaibu who has come to rescue his
master. But Shuaibu does not even have to lift a finger to
immobilize methe mere sight of him mesmerizes me. No, no , not
his size! He is someone I know, yes, the native Doctor!


Obviously he does not recognise me, my hands drop to my sides
and I slink to my seat totally deflated . All the fight has left me . I
steal a glance at madam, she is as white as a sheet! Just then
Lepa rushes in , when she hers that Etim is dead she throws
herself on the ground and starts screaming,
”Ah! Ah! They have killed my Etim!” My heart goes cold with
fright. Who is ”They?” All madams self assurance has dissapeared. This lepa’s tantrum
is a calamity waiting to happen. She continues screaming,
”They have Killed my Etim for nothing o”. I steal a glance at
madam who looks like she is going to faint .
I approach her, pretending I am consoling but tring to find out
just hjow much she knows,
”Easy lepa, nobody killed Etim, the operation went wrong.”
”He killed Etim!” She shouts pointing at the Doctor, ”What
operation?!? Etim had his appendix taken out two years ago!”


Then I remember! Its true, I have even seen the scar on a couple
off occassions, he never used to pick his beans on that account.

We all turned to look at Doctor Who.

By now a crowd has gathered in the reception , the news flies like
wildfire, a fake doctor has killed a patient! Before I know what is
happening the mob starts to lynch Dr who. He attempts to
escape thru the backdoor but he is quickly cut off. Shuaibu
struggles vainly toextricate his boss but its to no avail. .


They pound him with sticks, fists, kicks and all untill the man passes
out. Just then a van roars into the compound and someone
screams , ”Police!” The crowd dissapears miraculously leaving
only me, Lepa and madam to face the wrath of the cops. The 1st
person I see is seageant Mfon! They bundle all of us into the van
and speed back to the station. All I can think of is Acidwater and
what he will do to me this time.
