Must Read: Confessions Of A Randy Houseboy

It is when we get to the station Seargeant Mfon recognises me,
”You again! Are you not the fellow that was bailed some few
hours ago?”
I nod in abject dejection.

”What have you done again?” I start to explain but he tells me to
hold on since I would still have to make a statement soon.

When I am given a pen and papper to write the smell of the cell
urine wafts into the counter aand my hands start shaking
uncontrollably.

”If you are not hiding something why are your hands shaking?”
Sneers Mfon.

Madam says she has nothing to write. She has called Oga and he
is on his way. I pray earnestly he arrives before they throw me in
the cell and I meet my waterloo there , Acidwater!

But there is no such luck. Oga does not come before I finish my
statement. I am dragged into the cell kicking screaming and
fighting. Inside I cower against the wall. Acidwater laughs ,
unzips his trouser and walks towards me,
”Turn around and bend over, u think say u go escape? This ur
ynash go sweet o, fresh ynash”.

As soon as he touches me I fly at him kicking , bitting
scratching . He is much bigger than I am, but the fight in me is
bigger than the one in him. He throws a punch but I duck and
apply my knee to his groin with maximum force, I am fighting for
my life! He groans and slids to the ground slowly.

I leap on his
prostrate figure and start punching him untill he is out cold.

The other inmates finally restrain me . I get up panting, with eyes
blazing, looking like a cornerde Tiger. They all stare at me and
one shouts ,
”Shun! for the new presido! Shun for Presido , Okon, the giant
killer!”.

I am torn with conflicting emotions. The death of Etim is killing
me. I cannot tell if it is the silly doctor who killed him or its me. I
cannot even think in here. All I hear is ”Shun for presido!” I am
almost going crazy in here. But at least no one harrases me here
again. I do not know what is happening outside . After a week
madam comes to bail me again, but this time I am as suspicious
as ever. The policemen tell me to keep intouch because if they
charge doctor Who to court I would have to testify. I nod numbly.
As she drives home I watch her . It is obvious she has another
shocker for me. But when she finally drops the bombshell I am
still caught off guard!

”Okon, I am pregnant, and its ur baby!” My mouth drops open
