She went to the visitor’s room to see her visitor,who was no one else than the comical Ekaete.



Ekaete was like a sister to her eventhough Emilia didn’t know much about her background.


Ekaete: Chei! Madam Emilia na you be this (Frowns and expresses grief).


Emilia: It’s me oh,this is my condition and the place i’ve been staying for two months now (sobbing).

Ekaete: Chai! Sorry yeh! I been dey try how i go escape come see you here and na today i succeed.
Emilia: Do you mean,you escaped from your boss,just to see me. That was very risky,please don’t try it again.
Ekaete: Yes oh i escape,na the only way i fit see you nah. I bring food come for you,see am here (she looses a black polythene bag and brings out a plastic cooler).


Emilia: No! No! Thanks i’m okay,i’m not hungry.


Ekaete: So na all those kpako kiri-kiri food,you wan dey chop. I no put poison nah. See! (She opens the cooler containing rice,stew and fried fish. She take one spoon of the food and eats it).


Emilia: I know there is no poison,but i don’t like when my loved ones fall into trouble because of me.


Ekaete: Forget Rove ones,or you think say na the fish the poison dey?
Emilia: oh no hahaha!!! (she bursted into laughter).

Ekaete: So you ready to take the food now?
Ekaete: Yep,but if i collect the food now,how would you take the cooler because i just finished eating and i’m not a glutton.
Ekaete: Reave matter for Matthias,na me be the chairwoman for that kitchen,my madam no even know if things don lost or break,she no go know.

I go sneak come carry the coorer back rater.
