they both lodged in a hotel to have a better time together.


Elder Ochi: baby i wish we can be together for ever.
Pastor’s wife: me too but my yeye husband won’t allow me have better time. Can you imagine that he insisted that i go in the morning.


Elder Ochi: so how were you able to convince him?
Pastor’s wife: you don’t trust me again? I told him i wanted to visit my mum in Lagos and that i wanted to follow night bus. That man too hard sha but thank God he later concur to my trick.
Elder Ochi: sharp woman, you can lie o. See as you just carry your mama lie. What if he calls your people?
Pastor’s wife: he won’t even think about that, so you need not worry at all.
Elder Ochi: its alright, what matter’s to me is that i have you around me, so let’s get to the business proper.


They really enjoyed themselves; am sure you know the type of enjoyment am talking about.



After 3 days, the left for their various houses.


@ Elder Ochi’s house.(there’s knock at the door kpom kpom kpom..)
Elder Ochi: please come in the door is open
Mazi Ude: Elder good morning
Elder Ochi.good morning how are you this morning
Mazi Ude: am not really fine o
Elder Ochi: whats the problem?
Mazi Ude: Elder, please i need your help, my son is doing his finals and i need money to complete his school fees. You are the only one who can help me.


Elder Ochi: hmmmm so how much are we talking about?
Mazi Ude: Its just N100 000 only. I have 3 plots of land, i can give it to you as collateral to pay back in 1 year time by them my son will be serving his fatherland.


Elder Ochi: Its alright but we must sign an agreement. Deal or no deal?
Mazi Ude: deal sir.


He(Elder Ochi) gave him a copy of the agreement to sign. After signing Elder Ochi gave him the amount of money he requested and collected documents to the land in return.


One year passed by, the boy did not return home.

Ah! What must have happened to him? Its unlike him. Hmmmm God please. All these thoughts were running true his father’s mind. It was Elder Ochi’s cough that brought him back.


Elder Ochi: Ude why have you refused to bring back money as we agreed?
Mazi Ude: hmmmm can you imagine that i’ve not heard from my son, i would have come since but he’s no where to be found, am really confused.
Elder Ochi: please before you turn to confusion itself, go in and get the money let me start going.
Mazi Ude: Please Elder i need you to give me more time.
Elder Ochi: This is not our agreement o. Well because your’re my church member i will allow you one month and after that i will take over the land.
Mazi Ude: Thank you sir. God bless you sir.


Two weeks later, Mazi ude was out thinking about his life when he recieved the worst message of his life. His son died 2 months ago in a fatal accident on his way back.

His only son dead? This can’t be true, and if so why did it take that long before he got the news?

What about Elder Ochi’s 100 000? His 3 plots of land..Hmmm. He was think all this when the messenger handed him a photograph of confirmation, at the sight of it, he collapsed and died instantly.


Great tragedy has befallen the family, God why?…..


Elder Ochi was still waiting for his one month to elapse when he got the news that Mazi ude and his son is dead
what! Mazi ude and his son dead? No. Somebody should tell me am not dreaming… No. Let me go and for myself.. He rushed out immediately without talking to anyone. On getting to Mazi Ude’s house, he saw people going in and coming out, all of them expressing pity..


Elder Ochi: So this is true. What could have killed a healthy man who can to church just two days ago?
Villager: That’s life for you. He just recieved a news about his son’s death and thats all.

Elder: Jesus Christ of Nazareth! I thought i was dreaming, no i can’t stand this..


He left immediately and went back to his house.


He mourned for 7 days without eating. It seems the incident touched him more than others… He didnt even remember the money and the land.



Maybe because the document is with him or what? We’ll see as time goes on…..
