That same night at Uncle Nnamani’s house, Chinedu was sitting and thinking about what Ifeoma’s Dad had told him that day at the Shop.
Flashback to the afternoon at the shop.
Chinedu: good afternoon sir.
Ifeoma’s dad: afternoon, how are you.
Chinedu: am fine sir, sit down sir, what brings you here.
Ifeoma’s dad: thanks for that question, you see i came here this afternoon for us to talk man to man, and for you to reason with me.
Chinedu: sir, am not following.
Ifeoma’s dad: you will soon understand, did i mention to you that you are a very energetic and hardworking youngman.
Chinedu: (smiles) thank you sir.
Ifeoma’s dad: you are welcome, did i also mention to you that i wanted to seek revenge on the Agaba’s family.
Chinedu: sir, you did but what does this have to do with me, i don’t understand.
Ifeoma’s dad: i will give you whatever you want, money, house, car, anything just mention if only you do a small task for me.
Chinedu: and what’s the task.
Ifeoma’s dad: kill Mr. Agaba’s son Jaja.
Chinedu: what! Please i never had this conversation with you sir, with all due respect.
Ifeoma’s dad: (smiles) you will also benefit from it, think about it this way, killing the man who killed your dreams of becoming an economist.
Chinedu: sir, i can’t do that, am sorry sir.
Ifeoma’s dad: i didn’t ask you to do it directly, you could hire mercenaries to help you.
Chinedu: sir, i said i can’t do it.
Ifeoma’s dad: young man for a start i will give you two million naira, think about it and get back to me tomorrow morning….(he stood up and left)
Fast forward to the present.
Chinedu: (thinking to himself) i agree that two million is a big money but how can i take someone’s life because of that, but then again it will take me like eternity to save that kind of money, and this man is offering it to me on a platter of gold, if i have that money, i can live the kind of life, i had always wanted to live.
Chinedu: (banging th table) i will do it, no looking back, i will kill Jayjay, afterall he ruined my dreams without looking back.

Back in the hospital.

Napoleon: Jayjay, i wanted to kill you slowly but now I’ve got a better option.
Jayjay: and what stupid option is that.
Napoleon: i will kill your mother here right in front of you, i think its a better idea than killing you slowly.
Jayjay: b-----d, don’t even go there, you will do no such thing to my mum.
Lor’d V: if you hurt her, even if its a scratch i will make sure i kill you.
Napoleon: (laughing so hard) Scorpion, abeg dead man dey kill person?
Scorpion: (laughs) capon, how that one fit take possible nah, no way.
Napoleon: (to Lor’d V) don’t think i only came here to kill Jayjay, i also came for you, you think i don’t know you are their Overall capon.
Jayjay’s Mum: (crying) did i just hear capon, Jayjay please tell me you are not a cultist.
Jayjay: Mum am sorry, its a long story, sorry for dissapointing you.
Napoleon: (dragging one of the hospital chair and sitting on it) let me watch as the drama unfolds, madam, your son here is a ruthless cultist, forget his baby face, he is more wicked than the devil himself.
Jayjay: (slapping him hard on his cheeks) b-----d, shut your mouth up.
Napoleon: (touches his cheek and smiles) too bad, that’s the last slap you will give to someone in your lifetime, say good bye to your sweet mum.
Jayjay’s mum: (crying and getting her mind made up to face her death)
Jayjay: b-----d don’t you dare touch my mum.
Napoleon: (gets up and points the gun at Jayjay’s mum) its too late to go back now…..(just then they heard a voice from the doorway, DROP YOUR GUN, IF YOU SHOOT YOU ARE A DEAD MAN)


They all turned their heads to the doorway and saw many armed police men behind them.
Policeman: drop your gun now and surrender, you are outnumbered no escaping for you all, just surrender, we already have your boys both the ones you sent to Jayjay’s house and the one’s that were keeping watch outside for you, you have no other choice than to surrender.
Napoleon: (he slowly started dropping the gun, when he heard that his boys have all been arrested)
Policeman: good, all of you drop your guns and weapons on the floor, cooperate with us and you will be glad you did.
The five of them slowly dropped their weapons on the floor while the policemen brought handcuffs and handcuffed the five of them and another two picked up the guns and weapons they dropped.
Lor’d V: thank you officer, you really saved the day.
Police Officer: no need to thank me, i was just carrying out my duty, don’t forget to be in the station tomorrow morning.
Lor’d V: no problem officer, i will be there, thank you once again.
Jayjay was dumbfounded as he watched the officers leave with Napoleon and boys
Jayjay: how did you do that.
Lor’d V: (pats his back) i had someone put a tracking device on the idiot when he was stark drunk at the club, i knew he was coming here.
Jayjay: thanks Lord.
Lor’d V: Jay your mum.
He turned and went to his mum and embraced her tightly.
