I didnt see anna at all the next morning before i left with the others to hunt, guess she is sleeping uhn???

Hunting was fun- we got 3 rabbits , four big harts and a deer . We splited the group into four, each group was headed by a kakori man who knew the paths of the forest well… At last we were returning back to the mountain now with the games .

I had missed anna so much for the very short time we didnt stay together..

The first thing i did was going to anna’s tent but she wasnt there “she should have been back by now” i thought . I hurried back to the village to check if she was still with the kids but nay!- she had not even been there at all.

“this isn’t right” i said to myself
Where could she have gone?

I asked other mates and no one had seen her .
It was late now and my worries started to turn to suspicsion.

I went back to her tent to see if i would get any clue ….

I checked her bag, clothes nothing!

Suddenly, a thought flashed into my head – she didnt go to the village where she was supposed to be, Dan and his gangs were absent from the hunt too!

My guess was almost confirmed when a mate told me anna had been to the river early in the morning .

I ran as fast as i could praying she would be at the river skipping stones or watching the sun go down.

The river was quiet , there was no sign that someone had been there of recent .

I was about leaving when my eyes struck something, i moved close for better view and it was anna’s glove and her scarf rubbished in the mud ,
Did she fight with anybody?
Was she attacked by an animal?
All these thoughts ran through my head as i picked up the scarf then my eyes saw something else- the human skull ring which belonged to no other person than Dan!.

My worries had been confirmed
Dan is all behind this and also…

ANNA HAS BEEN KIDNAPPED!!!

I thought of what next to do as i headed not to the mountain this time but to the village.

The only place where anna would be kept was the koran arena where the kakori thug i saw coming out of Dan’s tent lived – its a wild guess but you know, i got to give it a try..

I got to save anna.
