Must Read: Confessions Of A Randy Houseboy

My help comes from madam!

”Leave him alone”. she screams and springs at the Prophet like
a cat. The Prophet has a hard time fighting her off. He retreats to
the verandah , all the while Madam is Trying to scratch out her
eyes.
”Fake Prophet! Leave my house with ur evil visions. ” All the
while oga is pleading with her ,
”Evelyn, pls leave him, he is a man of God.”

Madam is not
having any of that. She looks like a Tasmanian devil! Her hair is
scattered , her eyes wild and she is screeching like a banshee!

Even I am scared of her. Surely if anyone is possessed it is her!

She has backed the Prphet into a corner. He is holding his cross
in front of him like a shield and shouting,
”Thus says the lord, Touch not my anoitted and do my Prophet
no harm!” The bible verse does not avail him, madam launches
herself at him and rakes his left cheek with her nails instantly
drawing his holy blood. The prophet drops his Bible and cross
and flees through the open gate with his white garment billowing
in the wind.

Madam is ready to chase him into the street but Oga and I
restrain her and drag her into the parlour. Etim scurries out of the
parlour and I creep into my room leaving Oga and Madam in the
parlour. I have had enough drama to last me the rest of my
lifetime! I silently start packing mky things. I am leaving right
away. In ten minutes I have finished packing.

Without a word to
anybody I sneak out through the back door and towards the gate
with my bag . Just as I am about to open the gate it flies open, it
is the prophet and two policemen!

”That is him, arrest him!” Yells the Prophet, ”he is running
away!”.

The larger of the two policemen a burly big headed fellow with
fiery red eyes grabs me and says,
”I am Sergeant Mfon from the criminal investigation dept, we
have a compliant against you , Come with us to the station”.
”I am so shocked.” The Prophet does not mention one word
about madam .

”What is the compliant?” I finally manage to stutter.
”When you get to the station you will know.” Retorts the second
policeman, a wizened fellow with bad breath.
”I have not done anything, I have not”.
”Then why are you running away?” Asks the seargeant.

Just then I notice that oga and Madam are watching from the
window as I am dragged into the waiting van outside, all the
while protesting my innocence
